Introducing the 2021/2022 Board
Elections for the 2021-22 PTSA Board took place virtually during the Annual General Meeting, September 11, 2021. The board composition is seven directors. Two new board members were elected this year to replace outgoing directors. We are excited to have a strong board comprised of pharmacy technicians who bring varied practice experiences and perspectives to the leadership table.
Your 2021-22 Board Directors include:
- Ivan Yu – President (Calgary)
- Morgan Lahl –Past President (Calgary)
- Lindsay Marks – Vice President (Springbrook)
- Carlynn Bullock – Secretary (Lethbridge)
- Diane Reeder – Treasurer (Calgary)
- Engi Saleh – Education Director (Edmonton)
- Samantha Bruun – Communications Director (Peace River)

This past year Roxine Yong, Christine Levien and Geoffrey Maher completed terms on the board. Roxine Yong was the Treasurer and Christine Levien was the Advocacy Director for multiple years. Geoffrey fulfilled the role of Treasurer and spent time conducting the organizations financial needs and contributing new ideas to the board.
There were also a number of new members who expressed interest in volunteering their time to help our organization succeed. Over the next several months, committee membership will be finalized. There are still many volunteer opportunities available if you’re interested in helping PTSA be successful in advocating for the profession, educating on the pharmacy technician’s scope of practice and inspiring professional development.
