PTSA-24_resize.jpg

Knowledge and research application is about knowing how and where to access relevant information, interpret the information, and then put it into practice.  For many pharmacy technicians, this is a newer practice area but is significantly important for not only providing quality services but also meeting professional expectations and maintaining continuing competence.

Objectives

  1. Describe how knowledge and research application applies to pharmacy technician practice
  2. Access resources for gathering information
  3. Evaluate information sources for relevance and reliability
  4. Use acquired knowledge to inform practice

The Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy has accredited this program for 1.0 CEU
