Job Description: Remedy’s Rx in Chestermere is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed healthcare professional who supports pharmacists by preparing, packaging, and distributing medications while ensuring accuracy and patient safety. The position begins as part-time with the potential to transition to full-time.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
· Enter and process prescription information accurately
· Package and label medications for patient distribution
· Perform compounding tasks when required
· Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and restocking medications
· Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to support safe medication delivery
· Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
· Check blister packs for accuracy and correctness
Qualifications
· Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent communication and customer service abilities
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
· Previous pharmacy experience is considered an asset
