About us:
Central Labs is one of Alberta’s leading names in pharmacy compounding, with multiple state-of-the-art laboratories serving patients and healthcare providers across the province. We specialize in both sterile and non-sterile compounding, supporting a wide range of therapeutic needs with precision, safety, and personalized care.
As we expand into Calgary, we’re seeking full-time Pharmacy Technicians to help lead our newest compounding centre.
Job Highlights:
Main duties:
- Supervise compounding activities performed by unregulated team members (70%)
- Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding (20%)
- Administrative work and report to the pharmacist in charge and the lab manager (10%)
- Current or future Registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (MUST)
- You are welcome to apply if you are about to get certification
Candidate Attributes and Experience:
- Full time position: 5 days/week, must be able to work some weekends
- Candidates with previous compounding experience are encouraged to apply (preference)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Able to work in an energetic and fast paced environment.
- Exceptional ability to perform technical duties and great attention to details
- At least 6 months to one year of previous and recent pharmacy experience (preference)
- Able to provide pharmacy-related reference letters upon request
- Able to provide recent good standing criminal record
- We offer salaries above average market rate
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $60,000.00+ per year, negotiable based on experiences
