Chantel Parson – Beyond the Manual – Level Up Your Approach to Feedback

Biography

Chantel-Parson.jpgChantel is a pharmacy technician of 10 years, with an additional 4 years of community
experience as a pharmacy assistant. She has experience in front-line and leadership roles within hospital pharmacy practice. Her leadership experience include aseptic lead, sterile compounding trainer, and Connect Care Site Implementation lead. She is a certified change practitioner and has worked on various implementation projects both at a site and provincial level. Chantel is currently employed with Alberta Health Services, Provincial Pharmacy Services as a Technical Practice Leader. In this role, Chantel draws on her experience from front-line sterile compounding, including hazardous and nonhazardous, parenteral nutrition and neonatal intensive care specialty compounding, to identify innovative solutions and provide advice and direction for pharmacy practice related problems and non-clinical pharmacy operational processes.

Presentation Description

This presentation will help shift your perspective about feedback, walk through strategies to help deliver and receive feedback productively, and provide guidance on how to move through different reactions to feedback.
