Registered Pharmacy Technician Full Time in the Barrhead Food Store
Required: strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
Duties: Performing administrative functions, documentation, third-party billing reconciliations, and completing required audits.
Gather patient information and review prescriptions to confirm they are complete, authentic, and meet all current laws, regulations, and policies.
Manage pharmacy environment by maintaining the inventory, including safe storage and handling of drugs.
Practicing to full scope of practice as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice, and under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
Provide education on health aids and devices.
Participate in quality assurance audits/checks on distribution functions and activities.
