PTSA Poster Contest

2025  Virtual Poster Contest

Are you involved in an interesting project, work in a unique workplace, or want to share best practices with peers? PTSA invites you to participate in the PTSA’s Annual Poster Contest sponsored by Fresenius Kabi. A cash prize of $500 will be awarded to the author(s) of the winning poster!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Submit a digital image of your poster, a 5-10 minute video of the author presenting the poster, and a short sentence or two describing why you chose this topic needs to be sent to recognition.director@ptsa.ca by  July 15th, 2025.

• The email subject: Poster Contest
• The Author(s) that will be presenting the poster 
• A PDF file and a Video Presentation of the poster that will be used to post on the PTSA social media platforms.

A physical copy will need to be printed by the winning authors and brought to the 2025 Alberta Pharmacy Technician Conference. If the creator is unable to attend the conference, they will be responsible for printing a physical copy and coordinating delivery with the PTSA Engagement director. The winning poster will be displayed and presented at the annual PTSA conference.

Printing of posters should be created using a 48 x 36 research poster template.  

Please note that the images and videos being submitted will be linked onto the PTSA website using our YouTube Channel and may be posted onto the PTSA’s Social Media platforms. All submitting authors need to be aware of the use of these platforms.

WHERE TO START
Check out the online continuing education module and accompanying resources to learn how to create a poster here.  

The poster should outline your project with interesting commentary about what you learned and achieved along the way. It should be a balance of visuals and text.

WINNER SELECTION
Submitted posters and presentation will be uploaded to the PTSA Website from August 1st– 15th for online rubric grading and voting. Winning authors to be notified ahead of the conference and will be announced during the 2025 PTSA Conference September 12-13th 2025

The individual/team with the winning poster will receive a certificate of achievement and an award of $500 sponsored by Fresenius Kabi.
