Opportunities for Pharmacy Technician Leaders
The Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) encourages pharmacy professionals to apply to attend the 10th annual ACP Leadership Forum. The forum is geared towards pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are looking to expand their professional roles, pursue new leadership opportunities within their profession or community, or incorporate leadership into their practice.
If you are a pharmacy technician or a pharmacist and have been practicing in Alberta for up to five years, you are eligible and encouraged to apply for the $5,000 Leadership Development Award. Applicants must:
- be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
- be a clinical pharmacist or pharmacy technician in good standing with ACP for up to five years; and
- have demonstrated exemplary professionalism, citizenship, and leadership.
The award is intended to advance the winner’s leadership skills through attendance at a single prominent leadership conference, or leadership development opportunity delivered through a university or college program. The award can be used to cover program registration fees, travel expenses to attend the program, and accommodation and meal expenses while attending the program.
