Full job description:

Central Labs is Alberta’s leading name in pharmacy compounding, with multiple state-of-the-art laboratories serving patients and healthcare providers across the province. We specialize in both sterile and non-sterile compounding, supporting a wide range of therapeutic needs with precision, safety, and personalized care.

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician, preferably with sterile compounding experience to join our Devon, AB laboratory.

Job Highlights: Full-time: 5 days per week, including 1 weekend day per week.

Main duties:

Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding (50%)
Supervise compounding activates performed by unregulated team members (40%)
Administrative work and report to pharmacist in charge and facility manager (10%)

Candidate Attributes and Experience:

Current Registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (MUST)
Training and Experience with non-sterile/sterile compounding
Must be able to work some weekends
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Able to work under stress and fast paced environment
Exceptional ability to perform technical duties and great attention to details
6 months to 1 year of previous and recent pharmacy experience
Able to provide pharmacy-related reference letters upon request
Able to provide recent good standing criminal record check
