Nominations for 2022 Professionalism Award Now Open

The PTSA Professionalism Award recognizes a commitment to professionalism through excellence in pharmacy practice.

Do you know a Technician or Assistant who is making a difference in Pharmacy Practice, Patient Care or Advocacy? There are so many pharmacy professionals in Alberta who are making a difference in their pharmacies and for their patients. Why not honor them for their dedication to the profession.

PTSA members are invited to nominate a Technician or Assistant for the award. Candidates must be an active PTSA member. All nominations should include a completed nomination form and a letter of support. The letter of support should highlight how the member has demonstrated professionalism. A summary of accomplishments or resume may also be submitted.

Maybe that person is you. Self Nominations are also welcome.

One winner will be selected to receive a $300 cash award and an engraved plaque which will be presented at the Annual Alberta Pharmacy Technician Conference. Each nomination will be evaluated based on the awards selection criteria.

The award will be presented at the Virtual Alberta Pharmacy Technician Conference being held September 10-11, 2022.
