March is Pharmacy Awareness Month (PAM). Let’s take the time to share how proud we are to be pharmacy technicians and have a little fun in the process.

We want to see the snapshots and selfies of you, your teammates and your patients wearing one (or more!) of the #PAM2020 promo pins. Share your pics on social media using the hashtags #PTSApam2020, #PAM2020. Follow PTSA on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn throughout the month.
Promote your Role
Pharmacy technicians are essential health professionals who have a defined set of skills that positively impact patients and pharmacy practice. Take the time to help your patients or your colleagues become more familiar with your scope of practice. Share the Getting To Know Your Pharmacy Technician Pamphlet or Pharmacy Technician Roles website page with your patients and colleagues.
Add to your CEU Count
Set a goal to complete at least one new learning activity this month. Checkout the online Education Courses. If you’re in Edmonton attend the Techs in Touch Continuing Education Event: Hepatitis C
Share in our Profession’s Success

Nominate the Next Pharmacy Technician of the Year
Do you know a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant that goes above and beyond the regular call of duty to provide outstanding patient or customer care? Let them know how much they are appreciated by nominating them as CAPT’s Pharmacy Technician or Assistant of the Year. Submit your nominations by March 28, 2020.
