Write a Blog for PTSA.ca: Your Voice Matters!

Are you passionate about pharmacy, healthcare, or student life? Do you have insights, experiences, or ideas that could inspire others in the pharmacy technician community? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Why Write for PTSA?
- Build your portfolio: Great for seasoned and early-career professionals and is a great implementation objective.
- Expand your network: Build your professional presence and connect with like-minded peers and mentors.
- Make an impact: Your story could inspire someone else’s practice improvement journey.
- Get rewarded: Every blog post submission that is published will be entered into a draw to win a prize!
Guidelines for Writing a Great Blog Post
To help you get started, here are some guidelines to follow:
- Select any topic that may interest pharmacy technicians.
- Aim for 300 to 1000 words. Keep paragraphs short.
- Write in the first person (I/we). Your unique perspective is what will make your post great.
- If your post is evidence-informed, or mentions specific works, include in-text hyperlinks for online references and/or a reference list at the end of the post.
- Proofread your post for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors prior to submitting it.
- Optional: Along with the blog content, provide web-ready images that relate to the topic (and comply with copyright laws).

Every Post is a Prize Entry
We know your time is valuable and your experiences are meaningful. We’ve created the blog post contest not just as a fun incentive, but as a thank you for sharing your voice.
- Contest runs from June 14 to June 15 each year.
- Each published blog post will earn the author a chance to win.
- There is no limit to the number of posts that may be submitted.
- A winner will be selected by random draw from all blog posts.
- The winner gets to choose their prize: a free admission to the current year’s annual conference, or a $150 Amazon gift card (prizes may vary).
