The pharmacy assistant will be included in all pharmacy functions except those which entail the proficiency of a licensed pharmacist. They are involved in keeping patient records, handling inventories and managing insurance claims. They also handle clerical work and other administrative functions. They usually focus their attention on handling medications and receiving and filling prescriptions. Two Pharmacy is a long-established high-volume practice, supported with an amazing staff of 5 pharmacists, 2 techs, and 6 assistants. We strive to be at the leading edge of practice, with a compounding lab, dedicated clinical hours for pharmacists, and both dispensing and blister packaging automation.
Hours: 32-40 hours/week
