Gibbons Guardian Pharmacy is looking to hire a full-time Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The position is full time (40hrs/week) and includes day, evening, and the occasional weekend shift. Experience in a busy retail pharmacy environment is essential.

The regulated pharmacy technician will be expected to support the role of the pharmacist through the safe and efficient management of drug distribution.  The scope of this role includes billing, filling, and checking prescriptions, interacting with patients, doctors, drug plan representatives and social workers pertaining to related prescriptions, and inventory management. The applicant must be willing to work as a team with both our staff and the other local healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Regulated Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum 2+ years of pharmacy experience
• Registered in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well in a team setting
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Experience with Pharmaclik Rx system (preference, but not a requirement)

Hours of operation include 9am to 7pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm on Friday, and 9am to 4pm on Saturday. Closed Sundays and all Stat Holidays.
