Cambrian Pharmacy is a home-grown, independent pharmacy situated in Northwest Calgary. Since 1959, we have supported local neighbors by bringing a unique approach to health, combining traditional medicine with complementary therapies. Our customized services cater to the specific needs of individual patients, and we are currently seeking Part-time and Full-time Regulated Pharmacy Technicians to join our family-oriented team.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As an integral member of the Cambrian team, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacists in accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions, answering incoming calls, and performing other dispensary-related tasks. The common goal is to optimize our patients’ health care. You will use your personality to provide outstanding patient care while at the same time contributing to a teamwork atmosphere within an independent community pharmacy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pharmacy Technician Diploma
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) is required
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office applications is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to distinguish between routine technician functions and those requiring professional judgment
• Promotes, demonstrates, and encourages excellent customer relations and consistently shows courtesy, caring, understanding, compassion, and respect to residents, families, visitors, medical staff, co-workers, and volunteers
• Follows policies, procedures, and regulations; must know the drug laws and the limits of the responsibilities that may be assumed by the Pharmacy Technician
