    Presentation Objectives:

    • Defining Med Rec
    • Understanding why we do Med Rec
    • Highlighting the role of the Pharmacy Technician in Completing Med Rec

    Kaitlyn McMillan currently works at the Red Deer Regional Hospital as a clinical pharmacist on the cardiology unit and also works casual at Co-Op Pharmacy in the community.

    For the past 2 years she worked with the Integrated Quality Management (IQM) Team in Central Zone as the Pharmacy Lead on the Med Rec Action Team.  Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2011, completed her Hospital Pharmacy Residency 2012-2013, and joined AHS in May 2014.

    She is a bookworm and recently finished reading the book “If Disney Ran Your Hospital” which perfectly combines my work and leisure interests, she is planning her first trip to Disney World this August!
