Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course
The American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are pleased to announce the increasingly popular 2018 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course. Members of ACCP and ASHP may register for this course at the discounted member rate.
The 2018 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course will be held May 3-5, 2018 in San Diego, California and will offer 21.75 contact hours of live continuing pharmacy education credit, and an additional 3.5 contact hours of home study continuing pharmacy education credit. The course is designed to assist the experienced clinician in identifying knowledge gaps in the various content domains covered on the BPS board examination and assumes the learner meets the eligibility requirements to sit for the BPS specialty examination. This course has been revamped this year to incorporate symptom management topics within disease state presentations whenever possible to mimic BPS exam questions and real-world scenarios. The fall examination is scheduled to be administered in September and October of 2018.
The Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course is approved by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties for recertification credit for Board Certified Oncology Pharmacists (BCOP). This course is an excellent way for the BCOP to get updates on a broad array of oncology topics. Course Content Based on BPS Examination
Course content is based on the BPS domains and knowledge areas that attendees will be tested on during the examination. Topics and scheduled times have been proportioned according to domains and knowledge area emphasis. Content presented is updated as of November 1, 2017.
As a participant, you will receive a detailed electronic course handbook to aid in your preparation for the examination. Filled with patient cases and practice-based self-assessment questions, the course offers an excellent opportunity to assess your knowledge in multiple areas of oncology practice. During the live presentations, faculty will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses through interactive learning.
Program Goals and Target Audience
The Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course is designed to assist oncology pharmacy practitioners prepare for the Board of Pharmacy (BPS) Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Certification Examination to be administered in September/October 2018. This activity/program will also increase the knowledge and skills of pharmacists interested in oncology.

Cancellations and Refunds
An administrative fee of $85 will be charged for all registration fees canceled after April 20, 2018. Requests for cancellation must be sent in writing to ACCP [fax: (913) 492-0088. Registration fees cannot be refunded for cancellations received on or after April 21, 2018.
